its sunday and listening to the Garden State soundtrack, which is by the way great. I just wanted to say how much fun Artcore looks, and if only I lived in Canberra to attend. I expect to see pictures and here all about it on the blog!

Okay this isn’t a male bashing thing i promise. But…
I was playing tennis this morning with my mum and all of a sudden there were about 7-10 gardeners on lawnmowers and using those silly whipper snippers, anyway they were all have a watch at us, and i said to mum and i didn’t feel comfortable playing with them hanging around. it was ridiculous how many there were of them because around the tennis court there isn’t that much grass to cut. And waiting for the tram, guys who drive past always beep…and i think ‘yes i am a woman, congratulations for pointing that out’.
Male attention is fine if your comfortable with it or welcome it, but when all your trying to do is have a game of tennis or catch the bus…why do men think they have the right to leer at us?

…. until we head to Newie for the This is Not Art festival. I’m so excited. TINA is definitely my favourite of all the arts festivals I’ve been to. Maybe because it was my first. Maybe because I had no expectations. Or maybe just because it rocks!!!
If you’re in the Canberra (or Goulburn) area and desperately want to go but can’t find a ride, I have a spare seat in my car I’m willing to rent out for the shared cost of petrol. Email me if you’re interested.

Hi all,
I just watched the new movie show live at Venice and it actually looks like there will be some good movies to go see soon! Yay!! Not that I have time for the movies or anything…

I’m back, not that i ever really left… But i thought it was time to do my 2nd ever blog at lip. I’m listening to lip radio, first time as i’ve been working every sunday since it started. I really would have liked to hear the week 1, but oh well.
Not much going on — i’ve spent the last few months job hunting for publishing jobs or journalism, though I’ve widen my search to media administration, does anyone have an advice or tips?
I was watching rage the other day, and was horrified to see Jessica Simpson’s remake of “these boots are made for walking” has anyone else seen this video clip. its horrible and there is this scene where she’s wearing a red bikini and washing a car, a completely unnecessary scene, obviously just there for added sex appeal…it bugs me so much!
