Sampler Column #6: tomate d’epingles

By Michelle on 8 March 2007

It’s a good thing I don’t have to actually choose the Sampler competition winners, as there were some really great responses for the Batches o’ Patches comp. This week’s winner is Sarah. Our next prize comes from tomate d’epingles. Recycled jewellery? How eco-chic! You can win these fun retro hoop earrings by sending an email [...]

Sampler Column #5: Fred Flare

By Michelle on 1 March 2007

Not much in the way of competition in our last Sampler comp, so Emily walks away with the Gifts Define Ladybugs Hairclip. Keeping in with the theme of cute brightly-coloured accessories, this week’s comp is for this Batches o’ Patches by FredFlare.com. Their online store is named for Fred Astaire, as they believe that great [...]

Sampler Column #4: Gifts Define

By Michelle on 22 February 2007

It’s going to be hard to part with last week’s cuuute Chick Notes, but I’m sure they’ll be put to good use by Lauren, our lucky week 3 Sampler blog comp winner. Just as cute is this Ladybugs Hairclip, courtesy of Gifts Define. To quote from their website: “INdollGENCES” is the popular nickname of our [...]

Sampler Column #3: Nu Chick

By Michelle on 15 February 2007

It didn’t dawn on me until last night that week 2′s Sampler comp closed on Valentine’s Day… and our featured crafter was Valentina Design. Purely coincidental I assure you. The lucky winner is Lily, and her Maltese Terrier. This week we have up for grabs this adorable note sheet set from Nu Chick. Stylish and [...]

    FEMALE PERCEPTIONS PROGRAM

Every woman’s got one, but what exactly should they look like?

We are conducting a study to examine women’s perceptions of normality and abnormality in a very personal part of the anatomy - women’s genitalia. Taking part in the study involves viewing a range of images of women’s vaginas.

Understanding women’s opinions of what is normal is vital to help understand and promote positive body image. We are seeking women between 18 and 30 who are willing to give us half an hour of their time. Note that the study involves viewing and rating a series of explicit images.

This study forms part of a PhD research project being conducted at The University of Queensland. The study has been approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the School of Psychology.

If you are interested in taking part in this confidential study please contact Claire on 04000 65945 / c.moran1@uq.edu.au, School of Psychology.
