Corinbank ’09

Just ’cause summer’s almost over, doesn’t signal the end of the festival season. Yeah, the Canberra Show’s on this weekend… but so much much better than that is CORINBANK!!!

I can smell the chai and mulled wine already… mmmm!

If you haven’t heard of the “Deliberately intimate. Incredibly beautiful. Totally immersive” Corinbank festival, you’ll be surprised to hear that this is the second year it’s run. Corinbank is an annual 3-day, all-ages celebration of art, music, culture and people from 27 February to 1 March 2009 and is held at Corin Forest Mountain Resort.

Single day and 3-day passes are still available and activities include mountain biking, waterslide, interactive workshops, 1920s carnivale, tall-bike jousting championships, and heaps more. Under 16’s camp for free! *Last Minute Tickets* are still available from the retail outlets listed at www.corinbank.com

And when you’re ready to just kick back and relax, there’s a bunch of talented local and international musical artists to perform for your pleasure:

Blue King Brown – Archie Roach & Ruby Hunter – Mat McHugh (The Beautiful Girls) – Resin Dogs Sound System – Darren Hanlon – The Beez (Ger) – D’Opus & Roshambo – The Crooked Fiddle Band – Juke Baritone and the Swamp Dogs – Mal Webb – Casual Projects – April Maze – Mr Fibby – Rubycon – Friendly Yen – The Fuelers – Margaret Helen King – The Cashews – Richard Perso – Waiting For Guinness – Lee Rosser & Nicky Bomba – The Little Stevies – Sneaky Weasel Gang – Dubba Rukki – Ellis Collective – The Wedded Bliss – Chanel Cole & the Darklings – Gypsy Dub Sound System – Guillaume Soloacoustic – Fire on the Hill – Simone Penkethman – Funkier Than Alice – Big Bang Theory – Daniel Champagne

See you there!
