What: A one-woman poetic play about the struggle of women to find and accept their womanhood in the face of societal expectations. It is a story of love, family, culture, and the pressure to conform in the face of one’s true self.

‘Voiceworks’ Subscribe-a-thon

What: Express Media is one of the arts organisations that lost their funding earlier this year in the cuts to the Australia Council for the Arts. Published by Express Media, Voiceworks is Australia’s premier youth literary journal, featuring exciting new poetry, fiction, articles, comics and visual artwork by people under 25.
