Hairy legs are not news… not even entertainment news.

The fact that this ‘issue’ has been bought up in the media as newsworthy frustrates me to the max.

A lady with hairy legs isn’t unhygienic or unlady like… it’s a waste of space and time knowing this is classed as journalism. So what she didn’t get up in the morning and shave her legs for the big event? Is it any of your business? Real women don’t always look like Barbies and although I personally might have shaven my legs or even opted for a nice pair of slacks, this is not news worthy. Honestly, I think it’s a disgrace that people can make a living from picking on petty things and it’s even more sad that they have jobs because the public is so keen on knowing ‘what’s hot’ and ‘what’s not’ in the celebrity world that they’ll keep the support for this medium running by clicking on ad sites (and yes, I wasn’t too keen on posting the link for this knowing that I would be counted as a viewer for this article, but it’s there to prove my point), purchasing magazines with people they ‘know’ on the front cover and fall into this trap of needing to look like and know every detail of the lives of these so called stars. Gah.
