So many events, so little time. And they haven’t even finished uploading the program yet. We’ll have to definitely start with the Opening Party on Thursday, the Double Happiness launch-fest on Saturday, and Unearthed – Rare finds in rare fields on Sunday. I think we’ll just wing the rest of it. I just wish we could stay for the whole thing.
Just adding my excitement about going to SOOB. Not only is there the Festival of Ideas and Interface anthology launch, but there’s also hanging out with Mandy, who was the queen of the lip folk festival workshops and a prolific poet; meeting in person Brissie lip staffer Michelle Yan; but also seeing Brisbane itself, as I’ve only driven through briefly and don’t remember a thing. So, yay, travelling as well!
I will definitely write up a report blog on arrival back in Canberra.
