The Sticks: ep review

The Sticks really remind me of some of Mum’s old music she listens to around the house (much to the annoyance of my dad and brother!). I’d say their sound was somewhere in the vicinity of funk/blues/rock.

But basically, if you like Jet, Wolfmother or even some old school rockers such as Led Zeppelin or the Hoodoo Gurus then you’re sure to like The Sticks.

They have funky guitar riffs mixed with catchy lyrics that are sure to get you tapping your toes.

Hailing from Melbourne the boys (Bernard, Paul and Nick) have released their self-titled EP The Sticks with four amazing tracks on it (my personal favourite being “Do”).
