movie extra webfest 2.0 competition

For any aspiring filmmakers out there, Movie Extra is running the WEBFEST 2.0 competition where people are encouraged to pitch a new web-series idea by creating a 60 second trailer.

The prize is a $50,000 production budget to produce a seven part web-series that will run on the Movie Network Channel’s YouTube site: www.youtube.com/mnctv. Entries that obtain the most votes via social media sites will have a higher chance of reaching the finals where the Movie Extra judges will assess entrants on creativity and the performance of the trailer in an ‘online environment’.
