end rape culture

I’m sure it can be safe to say that rape is a weapon of power and humiliation that should not be endured by anyone. However, the round about figures suggest that women are more likely to be sexually assaulted than to get a tertiary education and that’s simply not good enough.

As a further development from my last post about the tolerance of violence online, a fantastic petition has been brought to my attention that is of vital importance to the campaign; focusing on the rape culture that thousands of people find it appropriate to joke about.

The ‘petition facebook to remove material that promotes rape culture‘  is aiming to disassociate the seriousness of the normalisation of rape culture and this is something that you can do to help.
