funding goal reached – but the work is not over yet!

Lip cannot thank you enough!

We are completely overwhelmed by the support of our wonderful readers, supporters, friends and family! We never expected to raise so much money so quickly, and it’s definitely renewed our faith in the magazine, and what we do.

However, the work is not yet over. When we started this project, we put the goal at the bare minimum of our needs – just enough money to print the next issue, and possibly host a launch party.

This project will stay up until the end of December, and any further money we raise through Pozible will go towards funding future issues, and the general costs of running the magazine.

To give you some idea, here’s our fantasy budget!

$1200 – We can pay the musicians at our launch party, and not have to have a cover charge.

$1500 – We can print extra copies of our back issues to help promote the magazine through stocking in different shops/newsagencies.

$2000 – We can print issue 22 as well as issue 21!

$2500 – We can finally offer some form of payment to our contributors to the print edition!
