I have to say, when Byron Bay Arts and Music Festival was canceled I cried a little bit on the inside…until I found out about Sunset Sounds ! A new festival, hosting most of the same acts that were to appear at Bryon, will kick off on Wednesday 7th/8th January at Brisbane’s Botanical and City Gardens.Good and bad news. Bad news is those of you under 18 will miss out this year, as it’s an 18+ event. This also means that alcohol will be served on the premises (Good news!) With a truely AWESOME line up, including THE CAT EMPIRE, THE KOOKS, TEGAN AND SARA, FAKER, FRANZ FERDINAND, THE GRATES, & I HEART HIROSHIMA plus heaps more I can’t think of a better way to spend a summers day!
